Rodman have launched two exciting new boats to join the existing Rodman 890 as part of a new ‘Ventura’ range. Two boats in the 6-8m range, the Rodman 690 Ventura and Rodman 790 Ventura have been launched as a ‘CC’ or ‘Centre Console’ versions, but in the long term it is hoped that each of the models will also be available as a Center Console, Walk Around or Hard Top. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of the Ventura boats will be designed to offer versatile spaces for owners to enjoy the water and the freedom boating brings. The Ventura range are all outboard powered, with the 690 and 790 powered by single outboard engines, and the 890 with the option of single or twin engines. Performance sees speeds of up to 45 knots from the 790, and 40 knots from the 690 and 890.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Launched with RBS Marine at the Southampton Boat Show in September 2022, the Rodman 690 Ventura CC is the perfect platform for family days on the water. Two distinct outside spaces forward and aft can be tailored to provide space for relaxing and enjoying the sun, for fishing or for water sports. Bimini covers are available to provide shade to the bow or cockpit and the helm and co-pilot seats double as relaxing areas as they spin to meet the cockpit seating arrangement. Within the console you will find the space you need to store your adventure essentials, and there is room for a chemical toilet if required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ‘big brother’ to the new Rodman 690 Ventura CC, is the Rodman 790 Ventura CC. This model has been announced by the factory and the boat is due to be launched at the upcoming Dusseldorf Boat Show in January 2023. Like the 690 Ventura CC, the 790 Ventura CC has fore and aft seating spaces that can be converted to sun pads or incorporate a table for entertaining. The centre console has an optional ‘T-Top’ for protecting the helm and pilots, incorporating a stainless steel structure and hard fibreglass or canvas top as required. Bimini covers are available for the bow or cockpit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the cabin below the centre console, the 790 Ventura CC features a V-shaped sofa which can be converted to a bed for overnight stay or relaxing below deck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the Centre Console models, Rodman are now working on Walk Around versions of these boats which we expect to see launched next season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of these new models joins the established Rodman 890 Ventura Hard Top (HT) which continues to offer family space for extended periods aboard. Recently updated, the 890 Ventura offers two separate double cabins, separate heads compartment and table and seating in the light and bright wheelhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
