We are pleased to announce that we have planned our first Rodman Owners club outing which will be held on the 10th April out from the Solent, the best catch of the day will win first prize and we will finish the day with Tapas and Spanish wines. Despite the weather we had an excellent boat show with a record number of enquiries. It's that time of year again when we are preparing for the London Boat Show at Excel which starts on January 8th to 17th. VAT RATE BACK UP TO AT LEAST 17.5% FOR NEW BOATS, the UK VAT rate will return to 17.5% on the 1st January 2010. There has been speculation that it could even be higher than this and possibly up to 20%. This means that for all new boats purchased in the next couple of months, you can make a saving of at least 2.5%!! Only one week to go before the Southampton Boat Show!! We will have on display the Rodman Muse 44, Rodman 1250 IPS, Rodman 1040 and Rodman 870 Hardtop. We will also be able to show you sneak preview pictures of the new Rodman Muse 50 before she's unveiled at the Cannes Boat Show.
Rodman will be launching the new Rodman Muse 50 at the forthcoming Cannes Boat show which starts on the 9th - 14th September. The 50 boasts 3 cabins (two double berth cabins and one twin berth) two heads and optional crew cabin, along with a huge flybridge!! We highly recommend that you view this stunning boat in the flesh.
Following the commissioning seatrials on the Rodman 1250 Fisher Pro we were please to find that she achieved a top speed of 36 knots, not bad for a boat that weighs 16.5 tons! Therefore, cruising at 22 knots will give you a range in excess of 300 NM.
